Every January, I travel to the EncaustiCastle in Lexington, KY to work with Patricia Baldwin Seggebruch and Kathryn Bevier for Winter Wax. This annual event is limited to 12 attendees who get to indulge in wax all week, followed by around the table sessions designed to spark your vision of your future as an artist. Every year, I travel to Seattle in July to spend the week with fellow encaustic artists at EncaustiCamp. This unique, inclusive retreat is fueled by mini-workshops and camaraderie. Ignite Your Vision for the twelve months post-camp to keep your creative juices and artistic dreams on-track by joining my group sessions at ECamp!
I was fortunate to have a Strategic Planning one-on-one session with Brenda. The process allowed me to gather and clarify my goals. Brenda took the process even further by suggesting steps and tools to help me reach those goals with less effort. I met with her less than a month ago and am already making pivotal progress. Now I’m dreaming even bigger.

I found Brenda to be a warm,empathetic and extremely organized advisor, who assimilated the information I gave her and offered spot on suggestions to help me jumpstart my career. The only problem I had was that I couldn’t at the present time financially afford what she recommended. But I’m working on it.
I have never seen my visions come to life as quickly and fluidly as I have since working with Brenda. She helps narrow my focus to the elements and steps which facilitated the concentration of efforts, resulting in rapid and rewarding results! As an artist and entrepreneur this is vital to the success of my business and work, as well as my own personal, artistic development. I wish I had had Brenda’s influence and assistance when I began this route nearly twenty years ago! That said, I am grateful for every ounce of input going forward and will not vision cast without her guidance. I can honestly say there has been nothing like what comes from working with her in any of my experiences thus far. She outshines all the other efforts I’ve made, put together!
I attended a week long artist’s retreat in January. Brenda was part of the agenda and I had no idea what was in store. With 12 artists sitting around a table over several evenings and with lots of soul searching, we established concrete plans for what we want to be as an artist and how to get there. Brenda also gave us the tools to continue to expand ourselves and work towards our goals. I have already made some dramatic changes and am so excited about my future as an artist. Thank you, Brenda.
